Unlike conventional CD / DVD replication which is a complex mold-injection process, CD-R / DVD-R media is manufactured "blank" and is written to with a laser. We support all industry standard formats for CD-R including mode-1 and mode-2 data, as well as CD-DA (Compact Disc-Digital Audio).

Some situations that are ideal for CD-R / DVD-R duplication would be:

CD-R Duplication / DVD-R Duplication Printing

Though we have the capability to silkscreen your CD-R's / DVD-R's much in the same way we do our CD's, we also offer a Lithographic Quality Labeling solution for your CD-R / DVD-R project. Generating and affixing high quality labels will help you keep your cost down, as well as enable a quick turnaround time for your project. In addition, we offer Thermal Label Printing, another low cost, fast solution. Thermal Label Printing is pictured above, to the far right.

Failsafe will output your digital artwork to our special gloss Mylar label, then affix each label to each CD-R. We use photo quality, four color process printers, which print at a consistent resolution of 2880 x 1440 DPI.
